Chapter 3 takes you into the Main Office, where the puzzles become more difficult. Although a carnival is usually full of people, the office is completely deserted, making the atmosphere even more unsettling. Maya continues investigating the mysterious events surrounding the carnival while searching for clues that could lead to Emily.
Completing this chapter rewards you with a key, which is required to unlock the next chapter.
Search the Main Office
After entering the office, Maya and Jack find the room empty and start looking for anything useful. So, they Open the second drawer beneath the bookshelf and collect the Scissors. Read the note beside the jar to find the code 4735.
Explore the Second Room
Leave the office and enter the next room.
- Use the Scissors to cut the sweater and collect Yarn.
- Inspect the briefcase in the corner and enter the code:
4735
This unlocks a series of three jigsaw puzzles.
Complete all three puzzles to reveal several images. Carefully inspect them to discover the hidden code:
481
Head to the small box on the table and enter 481 to unlock it. Inside, collect the Red Snake Tile.
Next, pick up the Fireplace Poker beside the fireplace.
Use the poker to knock down the books from the bookshelf and collect the first puzzle piece.
Retrieve the Second Puzzle Piece
Return to the Main Office.
Combine the Yarn with the hook inside the first drawer to create a tool. Use it to retrieve the second puzzle piece from the jar guarded by the spider.
Solve the Guess the Colors Puzzle
Interact with the Guess the Colors machine.
The objective is to create the correct color combination until the number on the dial reaches 5. Unlike most puzzles, there is no fixed solution or obvious pattern. The easiest approach is to test each balloon individually, observe how it changes the dial, and then experiment with different combinations until the target number appears.
Once solved, collect the remaining tile.
Arrange the Animal Tiles
Before placing the tiles, leave the room and examine the painting hanging above the box used for the jigsaw puzzles. It reveals the correct placement order.
Return to the puzzle and arrange the tiles as follows:
- Purple Raven Tile
- Blue Frog Tile
- Green Monkey Tile
- Red Snake Tile
The drawer opens, revealing a photograph of the missing girl with the words “The Sacrifice” written beneath it, providing another disturbing clue about Emily’s disappearance.
