In this achievement guide, I explain the Normal Achievements, secret achievements, and the Secret Barn Ending I have encountered so far. I cover what I do to unlock each achievement and the steps I use for the more complicated ones.
Normal Achievements
Plenty of the achievements are pretty straightforward, but a few require specific upgrades, prestige nodes, or actions. Here’s how I unlock the more tricky ones:
Back to work!
I have 10 idle Minibots at the Robotics Bay, and purchase the Enforcer Megabot. It prioritizes hitting the idle Minibots, so I quickly get this.
Bombardilo
I don’t spec into the Botfarm speed and Virality prestige nodes. I get the Laser Rifles prestige node for the Minibots, and the Lightning Strike prestige node for Peanut. I assign as many Minibots as possible to the Botfarm, and wait for a lightning to hit and trigger all the phones.
Cat > Dog
I buy Jinx & Shiro from the Company Credit Card panel.
Gardeneer
I spec into the Straw Hat prestige node, and let the Gardener bot handle a full growth cycle on one of the Garden plots.
Legend Has It
I spec into the Print Mastery prestige nodes and stack some luck. I should be able to roll a Legendary artifact in the 3D printer pretty fast.
Lost in Translation
I stack luck and all the Localization station prestige nodes, and complete as many localization demands as possible until I get a rare (purple outline) Timeline Bonus.
Oppenmeower
I stack Crunch levels and do a deep run. This is trivial after around Timeline 3.
Real Civil
I max the localizers qty prestige node, and complete demands for all 5 aliens in a single run.
Real Time Marketing
I accumulate a lot of Line of Code (Floppy disk currency). This is trivial when I get into a deep run right before or after beating the game.
The Clickers Clique
I get 4 Auto-Cursors from the prestige tree. After that, I either purchase the Betty Megabot, or find and equip the Cookie unique artifact in the 3D Printer.
Toxic Positivity
Max Toxicity level is 5, and I get it in about 4-5 timeline jumps. This is mostly achievable after beating the base game.
Secrets
Find the Secret Playtester
At the end credits, I wait for the playtesters to appear. Randomly between all the playtesters, I see one that’s called “SECRET PLAYTESTER”. I click it to unlock the secret.

Find the Key to the Basement!
In the bottom left corner of the room, I find a key on the wall. To get it, I first purchase Jinx. When I hold the cursor static near Jinx, it fixates on it and jumps towards it after a few seconds. I place the cursor between Jinx and the Key, and Jinx grabs the key when touching it. I click the key to see the basement.

Think Outside the Garden
I use the funnel of the Garden to water all the plants in the room, including the Cactus and Succulents room upgrades.

It Thrives in Stormy Weather
I unlock the 3rd Garden challenge to get the Giga-Growth phase for plants in the Garden. With Peanut’s Lightning Strike unlocked, I have access to the Lightning Rod room upgrade, which allows lightning to hit the Garden.
I get a plant fully grown, and don’t harvest it. When lightning hits the plant in that state, it grows to a new bigger state, and the secret unlocks.
Trap a Pet Fly
I unlock the 1st Garden challenge and go to sleep. After waking up, I notice an empty jar spawned under the computer. I drag that jar to one of the Garden plots and catch a firefly.

Win a Game of Simon
One of the 3 lightbulbs to the left of the Botfarm occasionally blinks. I click it to trigger a little Simon minigame and unlock the secret.

Get Really Lucky
I stack at least 12 luck on the 3D Printer, and keep rolling artifacts until I find and print the Uber-Legendary Mirror of Ardnalak.

Joe’s Important Note
I zoom in to the max and see a little note appearing on the fridge. I click it to reveal a letter from Joe, saying there’s an important message on the 3rd CD from the top.

There’s a stack of CDs in the right side of the room. I click the 3rd CD from the top and get a pleasant surprise from Joe.

It’s Falling the Wrong Way
I click ESC to get to the pause menu, where I see a bunch of Joes falling from the top of the screen. After a while in that menu, a horizontally flipped Joe spawns at the bottom of the screen and flies upwards. I click it to unlock the secret.
Cheat to Activate Godmode Joe
During gameplay, I type iddqd on the keyboard to unlock the secret.
The Backrooms / Noclip out of Reality
With 1 or less servers installed in the Cloud Servers rack, I click the Fusebox to the left. It reveals a wall in the rack. I click where the arrow in the wall points to unlock the secret.

Hidden Platformer Stage
At the Main Menu, I hold D and see a figure dropping from the top of the screen, and some platforms appearing. I use WASD + Space to jump between all the platforms and collect the star to unlock the secret.

Feed it and Evolve It
I unlock the Megabots panel from the 3D Printer, and go to sleep. A small box that costs Enriched Purranium and Scrap appears near the Robotics Bay. I pay to unlock a Megabot that rolls around and occasionally unleashes his vacuum to collect dust.

After it collects 10 dust, it stops moving. While it is in that state, I click Dustin to feed and evolve him and unlock the secret.

Look to the Stars
In the prestige Dreamtree, I click and toggle the stars based on the order of the picture to the right of the Cloud Servers rack.

Secret Barn Ending
To unlock the secret ending, I need to unlock the Jar of Flies secret (Trap a Pet Fly) and finish the game.
After finishing the game, I go back to the room and continue playing. I perform a timeline jump, and when starting a fresh run, I notice the jar with the fly spawns below the computer and is now draggable.

There are a couple of chicken silhouettes hidden in the dark background of the room. I drag the jar over the chicken to light and free them.
After freeing all the chickens, a new yellow portal opens in the timelines scene. I jump timelines again and enter the portal to unlock and play the secret barn ending.
