In Sort Them Ducks, I get all achievements with two playthroughs. In this guide, I explain how I get each achievement, which achievements I combine in the same run, and how I approach the two main runs for No Time to Waddle and I Don’t Do Buttons.
Overview and Map
My first run is a speed run for the No Time to Waddle cheev, and my second run is at a normal pace without using pressed abilities for the I Don’t Do Buttons cheev. I also use the second run to finish anything I have left.
I do the speed run first so I get it out of the way and take my time during the second run.
WARNING
Once I have all of my ducks sorted, a cutscene about the store plays. Before I progress further, I save my game and follow the Nice Choice, Ohhhh, Maaaan, and Send Help sections, as I get all three of these in a single run.
MAP
If I’m starting with the speed run, I recommend checking the store layout before starting. I memorize the locations pretty quickly, but knowing the layout beforehand saves me some time. Once I’m ready, I move on to the No Time to Waddle section of this guide.
Sort Them Ducks All Achievements
If I’m starting with the normal paced run for I Don’t Do Buttons, I make sure not to use any pressed button abilities from the upgrade machine, as using them invalidates the run.
First Quack
First Quack – Place your first duck on the correct shelf.
I do left-click to pick up a duck and right-click on an empty shelf spot to place it. If I place the duck in the wrong section, the name plate in front of it turns red.
Bills, Bills, Bills
Bills, Bills, Bills – Reach $100
This cheev unlocks naturally as I progress. Every duck I place correctly gives me cash, so I keep placing ducks until I reach $100.
Getting Organized
Getting Organized – Correctly sort 100 ducks.
This cheev also unlocks naturally. I just place 100 ducks in their correct spots.
What the Duck?!
What the Duck?! – Misplace 10 ducks.
If I don’t get this naturally, I place ducks in the wrong section 10 times. A duck is in the wrong section when the name plate in front of it is red.
Slippery Little Duck
Slippery Little Duck – Drop the same duck 5 times before placing it correctly.
I pick up a duck, drop it, and repeat this 4 more times before placing it correctly. The cheev then unlocks.
Boooooooooom!!!
Boooooooooom!!! – Hidden achievement: Get Boomed.
At the upgrade slot machine on the end-cap of the fruit and superheroes shelving, I spend $100 to spin for upgrades. Eventually, one of the spins spawns several bombs in the pile of ducks. I pick up one of the bombs and wait for it to explode to unlock the cheev.
TIP
I throw the bombs into unsorted piles of ducks to spread them out and make the area easier to move around.
Efficiency Expert
Efficiency Expert – Collect 15 ducks with a single collect ducks ability use.
Between upgrading my inventory at the upgrade machine and getting extra inventory slots from slot machine pulls, I eventually reach 20 inventory slots. Once I have at least 15 slots, I find a duck type with 15 or more ducks on the ground and press 2 to use the collect ducks ability. The cheev then unlocks.
If I don’t find a duck type with 15 or more on the ground, I take all of one duck type off a shelf and use the ability again.
Category Complete
Category Complete – Fully stock a single shelf category.
This cheev unlocks naturally as I progress. I just correctly stock an entire category of ducks.
Sticky Fingers
Sticky Fingers – Hidden achievement: Pressed the cash register 10 times and walked away $20 richer.
The cash register sits next to the Countries category. I go to the register and press E 10 times. The cheev unlocks and I receive $20.
Maxed Out
Maxed Out – Fully upgrade every available upgrade.
I purchase every available upgrade at the upgrade station endcap by the ninjas and food category. I get enough money to purchase everything as I continue placing ducks.
Master Sorter
Master Sorter – Correctly sort every duck in the shop.
I sort every duck into its correct category. Once everything is sorted, a cutscene showing all the store shelving plays.
TIP
On some runs, I have trouble finding a couple of ducks. Some disappear completely while others clip into the wall. When this happens, I open the menu with Escape and select Shuffle Ducks. This respawns the unsorted ducks on the floor so I find and place them.
SPECIAL DUCKS
A few ducks don’t go on the traditional shelving:
- Large Red Tower Duck – I place this on top of the cone-shaped regular duck display in front of the mafia ducks category.
- Mr. Duck – I place this large duck with the top hat behind the desk in the separate room next to the weather ducks category.
- Supporter ducks – DrGluon, LadyLouGaming, Trua, WhoElsButMe, and o_salsichinha. I place these on the platforms to the left of Mr. Duck’s desk. The names appear on the platforms as I place them, so the order doesn’t matter.
Some ducks also look like they belong in two separate sections, such as Sun and Sunny ducks. If I struggle to find where a duck goes, I hold the duck and press 3 to highlight the shelf it belongs on.
Egg-cellent Timing
Egg-cellent Timing – Hidden achievement: Collected 10 eggs and hatched yourself a duck.
There are 10 eggs hidden around the map. When I find one, I left-click it to pick it up. After collecting all 10 eggs, the cheev unlocks and a large egg containing a duck with my username on it spawns.

Jackpot!
Jackpot! – Obtain every upgrade from the slot machine.
I get enough cash during my playthrough to max out the slot machine. I keep feeding it money until I get every upgrade and the cheev unlocks.
TIP
I go after this during my No Time to Waddle run because the slot machine gives me upgrades that help me save time.
Nice Choice
Nice Choice – Hidden achievement: Copy your favorite duck.
WARNING
I get this cheev, Ohhhh, Maaaan, and Send Help in one run by following these steps.
Once the cutscene plays after I place all the ducks correctly, I save my game. I pick any normal duck from the shelf and place it on the platform in front of Mr. Duck. This spawns 2,000 copies of that duck. Once the cheev unlocks, I force close the game.
I open the game again and load the save from before I created the 2,000 copies. I then move on to the Ohhhh, Maaaan section.
Duck Whisperer
Duck Whisperer – Use find duck ability 50 times.
I purchase the find duck ability from the upgrade machine on the ninja/food endcap. Once I have it, I press 1 to use it. This temporarily makes all ducks matching the one I’m holding float, which makes them easier to find and sort.
I use the ability 50 times to unlock the cheev. I do this during my No Time to Waddle run because it also helps me sort faster.
I find this ability more useful after clearing some floor space, as I get to the floating ducks faster. Even when I don’t need it, I keep using it until I reach 50 uses.
Avoid
I do not use the find duck ability during my I Don’t Do Buttons run, as this invalidates the cheev.
Ohhhh, Maaaan
Ohhhh, Maaaan – Hidden achievement: Somehow end up with 2,000 copies of Mr. Duck.
Avoid
I get this cheev, Nice Choice, and Send Help in one run by following these steps.
Once the cutscene plays after I place all the ducks correctly, I save my game. I pick up Mr. Duck from behind his desk and place him on the platform on the desk. This spawns 2,000 copies of Mr. Duck. Once the cheev unlocks, I force close the game.
I open the game again and load the save from before I created the 2,000 copies. I then move on to the Send Help section.
Send Help
Send Help – Hidden achievement: End up with 2,000 giant ducks and fill the room.
WARNING
I get this cheev, Nice Choice, and Ohhhh, Maaaan in one run by following these steps.
Once the cutscene plays after I place all the ducks correctly, I save my game. I grab the big red duck from the top of the cone duck display and place it on the platform on the desk. This spawns 2,000 copies of the big red duck. If I still need Nice Choice or Ohhhh, Maaaan, I force close the game.
I open the game again and load the save from before I created the 2,000 copies. I then move on to the Nice Choice or Ohhhh, Maaaan section.
No Time to Waddle
No Time to Waddle – Completed the game in under 4 hours.
This is the most difficult cheev for me, but it’s still pretty easy. I finished this run in about 3.5 hours while playing blind and working pretty inefficiently at times. Following these tips should make the run easier.
I Don’t Do Buttons
I Don’t Do Buttons – Finished the game without pressing a single active ability.
I would not attempt this on the same run as No Time to Waddle, although I’m sure some ambitious players will try.
For this cheev, I don’t use any button press abilities during the run. This means I don’t use buttons 1, 2, or 3. I sort all the ducks without using these abilities, and the cheev unlocks.
During my run, I still purchase abilities like Auto-shelves Item when thrown at correct shelf, Sprint, and Auto-collect ducks matching the one in hand until Inventory is full and still get the cheev. Slot machine pulls also don’t invalidate the cheev.
