Deskrawl: Idle ARPG Hunter Leveling Guide

By Editorial / September 30, 2026 / Guide / 9 minutes of reading

In this Deskrawl: Idle ARPG Hunter leveling guide, I explain the leveling process from Level 1 to 60 without resetting my talents. I cover the full talent path, skill bar changes, companions, important unlocks, and gear affix priorities as I progress through each stage. I also explain how I handle the difficult Level 33 wall and transition into the final BiS Hunter build at Level 60.

Hunter Leveling Guide: Level 1 to 60

I follow this route without resetting my talents. Resetting talents costs gold, and the cost increases quickly. The 60 talent point path below is continuous and leads directly into the BiS build without spending any gold on resets.

Zero Respecs

I keep every talent point I spend. The full path is planned so I can reach the final build without resetting anything.

Active Skills Are Free

I can swap my active skills from the K menu without spending gold or materials. As I level up and enter areas with different hazards or enemy groups, I change my skill bar when needed.

Skill Unlock Levels

These unlock levels are fixed:

  • Basic: Poison Shot (Lv 1) -> Arcane Bomb (Lv 15) -> Knife Barrage (Lv 30) -> Double Arrow (Lv 45).
  • Strong: Aimed Shot (Lv 5) -> Multiple Shot (Lv 20) -> Rapid Shot (Lv 35) -> Poisonous Projectile (Lv 50).
  • Specials: Poison Trap (Lv 10) -> Shockwave (Lv 15) -> Frost Trap (Lv 25) -> Arcane Arrow Storm (Lv 30) -> Ghost Form (Lv 40) -> Flare (Lv 45).

2. Roadmap — Level 1 to 60

4. How Does the Hunter Perform Against the Other Classes?

CriteriaHunterMonkWarriorSorcerer
DPS vs. Single-TargetS+ (Best in the game)AB+S
Wave Clearing (AoE)Early B+ / S in endgameASS+
Early Survival (Lv 1-34)B (Fragile if not using CC)S+ (Continuous Healing)S+ (Passive Armor)B (Mana Dependent)
Key Skills DependencyHigh (Rapid Fire at Lv 35)Medium (Gentle Healing)Low (Early Whirlwind)Medium (Early Lightning)
Potential in InfernoS+ (Delete Bosses Safely)S (Evasion + Life on Hit)A+ (Constant Tanking)S (Elemental Damage)

The Monk and Warrior are simpler and safer during early leveling, especially around levels 20 to 34, because of their healing and passive armor.

Once I reach Level 35 and unlock Rapid Fire, the Hunter’s single-target damage increases significantly for boss fights.

6. Priority of Non-Legendary Affixes During Leveling

I prioritize my affixes in this order while leveling:

  • Weapon: Weapon Flat Damage > Physical Damage % > Dexterity > Critical Strike Chance %
  • Bib and Pants: Maximum Health % > Armor > Magic Resist > Evasion Chance %
  • Helmet: Maximum Health % > Skill Cooldown Reduction > Dexterity
  • Gloves: Critical Strike Chance % > Critical Strike Damage % > Attack Speed %
  • Boots: Movement Speed % > Maximum Health % > Evasion Chance %
  • Rings & Amulet: Life on Hit plane > Critical Hit Chance % > Physical Damage % > Dexterity

I hope you like the guide.
