IGTAP an Incremental Game: Late Game Guide

IGTAP an Incremental Game: Late Game Guide

By Editorial / September 25, 2026 / Guide / 6 minutes of reading

I notice a lot of discussion around the late game in IGTAP an Incremental Game, especially when it comes to some of the more confusing progression steps. In this guide, I cover VMAN, how I push past 3 GRP, how I unlock Omnidash, and how I unlock orbs and zips.

Atom Collider, a Prestige System

The Atom Collider serves as a prestige system in the late game. Until I unlock VMAN courses, this is my best friend. This does not mean I use it every chance I get. I usually use it when I can upgrade it around 30–50 times at once.

IGTAP: Quam Formidolosum Achievement Guide

After I unlock the new resource called GRP, I use it much less frequently because the later stages that produce GRP always reset. I can still follow the same strategy, but I first upgrade everything I can that costs GRP, max out my GRP, and then upgrade the Atom Collider.

Upgrade Tree

Important Upgrades in the Upgrade Tree

The upgrade tree has many upgrades to choose from. It can get overwhelming in the mid-late game, but there are a few VERY important upgrades to look out for. I unlock these roughly in this order.

Chance for Green Clones

This is my first upgrade and also my highest priority most of the time. I can easily forget about this upgrade after unlocking GRP, but it plays a big part in producing GRP. I make sure not to forget about it.

Enable Buy Max on Course #’s Upgrades

The first upgrade I see is on the right side of the base of the tree for Course 6. I unlock this because it makes things easier.

Open the Door to the Facility’s Lower Section

I use this to access arguably the most important early late game course, my FIRST set of orbs, and some VERY important upgrades.

Maximum clone speed/size tier

The clone speed and size upgrades are not just +1 size or +1 speed. These upgrades can greatly affect my progression speed.

From what I have seen, a max-size green clone is roughly 3x faster than a normal-sized green clone. I make sure not to sleep on these upgrades.

Enable Jump and Dash Refresh Orbs / Unlock

I find this in the lower part of the facility, to the far left. This upgrade gives me faster course times and lets me complete certain courses that require these orbs.

Buying Atoms no Longer Resets Course

I always prioritize this upgrade.

Completing a Course Boosts it by #X for ###s

I can upgrade this with any extra NP I have during the early late game.

After I unlock GRP, I also find another upgrade called NP Gain is Doubled For Each Course With an Active Boost. Once I unlock this, I prioritize upgrades that increase the boost duration.

This can get me up to 1024x NP generation. The longer I keep 1024x NP generation active, the faster I can buy upgrades.

For maximum efficiency, I also prioritize The NP Cap is Now a Softcap to maximize the boost generation. More on these upgrades later.

A Split in the Road (Tree)

I notice a path to the right that I cannot reach because of an empty orb silhouette. My game is not broken.

X% Increased Clone Dust

Clone Dust generates in the lower facility and later in Courses 6 and 9 (nice).

Clone Dust acts as a multiplier for GP, so I find it very useful in the early to mid late game.

Activate Zip Movers

This gives me access to Course Ten.

If I am good with movement, I can actually reach Course Ten without this upgrade, although I cannot complete the course to my knowledge.

It is still worth getting because I can use it to see if I can upgrade the global wattage or prestige the Atom Collider early.

Omni-Dash

This is the turning point where I move from the early and mid late game into the end game.

Chance For Green Clones to Become Red

This becomes my biggest priority in the end game.

Buying Atoms with GP no Longer Resets Anything

This one is self-explanatory.

The NP Cap is Now a Softcap

When I go over the softcap, my NP generation lowers the higher I go above the cap.

When I combine this with boosts, I can obtain upgrades exponentially faster.

NP Gain is Doubled for Each Course With an Active Boost

There are ten courses I can use with this upgrade.

To have enough time to reach the maximum 1024x NP generation boost, I need to upgrade the Course Boost Duration upgrades.

Raise Watts Generated to the Power of X

This is where the game starts slowing down.

When this upgrade is capped, it gets me to the power of 1.5x.

Start VMAN Speedruns with an Omnidash

This is a must-have to enter the late end game.

Adds Xs to Each VMAN Run

I do not confuse these with the upgrades in the VMAN area.

The two most important upgrades give +10 seconds per upgrade. There is also a secret one outside of the facility to the right that gives an additional 120s.

+1 Midair Jump

This gives me access to the outside of the facility.

Getting to 3 GRP

Getting to 3 GRP and More

A bottleneck I can run into is getting to 3 GRP.

In VMAN, I get achievements for the first 5 courses I complete. What the game does not tell me is that I can complete more than those 5 courses.

After I complete the 6th course in VMAN, I officially get past the bottleneck.

Lower Facility / VMAN

Lower Facility

Course 8 is important.

The multiplier upgrade can greatly speed up the early to mid late game. Every time I upgrade it, my multiplier goes up by 10x.

VMAN

VMAN is a big bottleneck for players.

The fastest early-game VMAN pathing I have found is going through the courses normally:

1 > 2 > 3 > 4

After I unlock Omnidash in VMAN, the quickest path I have found is:

1 > 2 > 5 > 3 > 4 > 6 > 7 > 8 > 9 > 10

I can go past the beginning of the game. I have to unlock the Atom Collider section and play through it in VMAN to reach 3 GRP.

Omnidash

There are a few secret movements I can use with Omnidash for quicker course times, reaching secret upgrades, and more.

Super Jump

I dash down at the ground and jump when I land to perform a super jump. This lets me jump very high.

Super Dash

I dash left or right and immediately jump after. This gives me a slight speed boost and slight height.

Hyper Slide

I jump in the air and aim my Omnidash diagonally left or right toward the ground. I then jump again immediately after landing.

This lets me move very fast but gives me very little height.

Wall Dash

While looking at a wall, I dash toward it and immediately jump. This lets me bounce off the wall at high speed in the opposite direction.

Dash Climb

This works similarly to the Wall Dash. I aim my Omnidash diagonally upward toward the wall and immediately jump when I make contact with it.
