RetroSpace Achievements, Collectibles & Codes Guide

RetroSpace Achievements, Collectibles & Codes Guide

By Editorial / October 4, 2026 / Guide / 11 minutes of reading

I cover all RetroSpace achievements, collectibles, codes, audio logs, collectible cards, side quests, and Star-Head rooms in this guide. I also explain the requirements for the different endings and challenge run achievements. And I also list the collectibles and codes in order, so I can follow the guide while playing and avoid missing important achievements or items.

RetroSpace Achievements Guide

I include the requirements for difficulty achievements, challenge run achievements, ending achievements, and general achievements, along with the locations of important collectibles and all known codes.

Difficulty Achievements

Out of madness

Finish the game on any difficulty.

I finish the game on Story, Normal, 1999, or Russ Kurtell mode. Finishing on a higher difficulty also unlocks the lower difficulty achievements.

Gotcha, Boomer!

Finish the game on 1999 mode difficulty.

I’m MacReady!

Finish the game on Russ Kurtell difficulty.

Challenge Run Achievements

Hobo for life

Finish the game without spending any money in vending machines.

I do not buy anything from food or drink vending machines. It’s okay to buy Mutamods, gadgets, or upgrade weapons.

Never there

Finish the game in “ghost mode”. Never detected by any kind of enemy.

I stay in stealth and do not alert any enemies. I check my statistics and make sure Enemies Alerted is always 0.

Warren Wrenchman

Finish the game using only the Power wrench and the HyperBroom as weapons. (never kill any enemy with other weapons)

I can only directly kill enemies using the Power Wrench and HyperBroom. Environmental kills, including oil/acid puddles I made, infighting kills, and friendly security kills don’t count.

This is NOT the way

Finish the game in “no-hud” mode, so never use a helmet in one entire playthrough.

I never pick up the helmet. This means I can’t access the mini-map, health, visibility, or ammo count on screen.

The helmet also comes with built-in oxygen tanks, so without a helmet I’ll start losing health when I enter a gassed vent.

Clean hands

Play through the game without killing anyone. (including robots and turrets)

I check my statistics and make sure Player Kills is always 0. Environmental kills, including oil/acid puddles I made, infighting kills, and friendly security kills don’t count.

I prefer my payment in cash

Collect 2.000 credits without dying once.

This is not a challenge run achievement, but it can be difficult if I’m trying to do it on my first playthrough. There are about 6 to 7 thousand credits available across the entire station on both timelines, so I have to collect 1/3 of all cash without dying once.

Are you okay, buddy?

Play for at least 1 hour with less than 20% health.

This is not a challenge run achievement, but playing with low health can be dangerous. I can also cheat by just idling for an hour.

Ending Achievements

Too good to be true

Reach the “Good” ending.

I choose The Golden Journey as my destination.

Not the best outcome…

Reach the “Bad” ending.

I choose Earth as my destination.

Post-Ending Scenes

As confirmed by the developer, there are six post-credits scenes that depend on my playstyle. The following is the hierarchical order, so the top ones have higher priority if I meet multiple requirements.

01 – Abomination

“Use a lot of Mutamods, also upgrade at least 3 different Mutatmods to level 3.”

02 – I am the Void

“You died at least 20 times during one playthrough. And none of the conditions for a stronger ending were met.”

03 – There is still hope…

“You finished all the side quests. And none of the conditions for a stronger ending were met.”

04 – Space Disease

“Never use any Mutamods in the game. And none of the conditions for a stronger ending were met.”

05 – The Wrench is the KEY

“Kill at least 20 enemies with the wrench. And none of the conditions for a stronger ending were met.”

06 – Everything is funky

“None of the conditions for a stronger ending were met.”

Collectibles Achievements

Muta-Freak

Buy all the Mutamods. (at least on level 1)

This is missable for two reasons. A few of the 10 Mutamods are location or timeline exclusives. Also, everything is more expensive on higher difficulties.

I can’t buy all Mutamods, fully upgrade all weapons, and all gadgets at the same time on Russ Kurtell mode, for example.

Here’s the order where I find them for the first time:

01 – Moth Light (Alt timeline Medical Section)
02 – Rhino Body (Alt timeline Medical Section)
03 – Skunk Bomb (Alt timeline Medical Section)
04 – Unicellular (Alt timeline Medical Section)
05 – Bat Hearing (Nexus Plaza, Train Station)
06 – Pig’s Mouth (Engineering, the bottom floor where there’s a Pigman mutant)
07 – Octopus Heart (Engineering, Marco’s office)
08 – Grasshopper Legs (Borealis Garden – Garden D|C, the room to the left when I enter)
09 – Brain Parasite (Grand Station – Police station, the office room near two back-to-back turrets)
10 – Tentacle Hand (Alt timeline Borealis Garden, on the second floor)

Tech-guru

Buy all the tech-gadgets. (at least on level 1)

This is missable if I’m playing on higher difficulty because everything is more expensive. I can’t buy all Mutamods, fully upgrade all weapons, and all gadgets at the same time on Russ Kurtell mode, for example.

I’m all out of bubblegum

Upgrade all your weapons to the maximum.

This is missable if I’m playing on higher difficulty because everything is more expensive. I can’t buy all Mutamods, fully upgrade all weapons, and all gadgets at the same time on Russ Kurtell mode, for example.

01 – Universe Cleaner (can’t be upgraded)
02 – The Master Exploder (can’t be upgraded)
03 – Power Wrench

06 – Sinclair Handcannon

08 – Bradbury Beamgun
09 – HyperBroom

06 – Find a new head for Joey + Go back to Joey with the head

I find Joey’s head in alt timeline Luxury Section – Private Rooms. A Repli-baby is wearing it.

07 – A piece of Rose

General Achievements

Squat master

Walk 5000 steps while crouching.

I check my statistics. The achievement will unlock when Crouched Steps are over 5000.

Score

Dump 5 heads into bins.

I can get this if I’m lucky enough that all Moth enemies drop their heads, without mutating into spiders, at Nexus Gardens.

I dump their heads into bins on the wall. There are about 5 to 6 bins in this level, and a single bin can typically hold 2 heads.

Bull in a china shop

Trigger 50 enemy alarms.

I check my statistics. The achievement will unlock when Enemies Alerted are over 50.

Better than therapy

Get 50 kills by headshots.

The statistics track every headshot, but this achievement only counts the final hit.

Hygiene obsession

Clean up at least 50 blood splatters.

Clean-O-Bot 3000

Clean up 100 blood splatters.

Don’t care

Step into at least 30 dangerous environmental puddles.

I install the Moth Light Mutamod, stand under light, and create an acid puddle in front of me. I step into it and get out, heal, and repeat.

Evolutionary dead-end

Have 3 cloning errors at the same time.

I die 3 times without treating it at Heal-o-Dome or retrieving my corpse. I then get 3 cloning errors.

The Master Exploder

Build the secret weapon!

01 – Voidfield-Pulse Condenser (Grand Station – Crew Section, behind a shelf on one of the big hall’s second floor)
02 – Trans-Space Harmonizer (Great Dome – Diner, behind the statue)
03 – Omega Tachyon Projector (Grand Station – Control Zone, under the floor of the bar)

The Rite

Find the way to kill Charley

I do not escape from Crew Section. I can deal with Charley by killing it, although it is a bullet sponge, or by putting four heads in the ritual bowls.

I hope this guide helped you!
