In Mortal Sheel II, I explain the achievements, bosses, shells, and weapons, and how I unlock all. This guide also includes other achievements and collectibles. The first achievement I unlock is a weapon and for this, I don’t work hard as it unlocks automatically as I progress through the game. I hope you enjoy the guide and learn how I unlock all achievements and defeat bosses.
General Achievements
More Than a Weapon
Obtain your first shell, weapon, and crossbow.
How to get: I obtain this naturally as I progress through the very beginning of the game.
Finally Home
Reach the Bone Fortress.
How to get: I unlock this automatically when I first visit the Bone Fortress.
This Is Not an Achievement
Complete Mortal Shell II.
How to get: I start a new cycle (NG+).
Bosses
No, You Still Can’t Defeat Me
Bring the Tar Golem down to minimum health.
How to get: During the Tar Golem fight in the prologue, I reduce its health bar to 0. If I lose, the story continues, so I can only get this achievement on a new playthrough.
Fun for Everyone
Defeat Magdalena, Mistress of the Forests.
How to get: I find this boss inside the Corrupted Gate near the “Mushroom Village Gate” effigy. It is in the upper part of the map, with the gate to the east.
Meat’s Back on the Menu, Boys!
Defeat the Lost Child.
How to get: I find the boss inside the Corrupted Gate near the “Gaping Gate” effigy. It is in the upper part of the map, with the gate to the north.
Not in His Head
Defeat the Nameless Prisoner.
How to get: I find the boss inside the Corrupted Gate near the “Nochten Gate” effigy. It is in the upper part of the map, with the gate to the west.
Something in the Depths…
Defeat the Hexapod.
How to get: I find the boss inside the Corrupted Gate near the “Mammon Gate” effigy. It is in the lower part of the map, with the gate to the west.
It’s Burning
Defeat Droga the Conqueror.
How to get: I find the boss inside the Corrupted Gate near the “Sister Gate” effigy. It is in the lower part of the map, with the gate to the east.
Fuel for Nightmares
Defeat Sir Isaac, the Scholar Prince.
How to get: I find the boss inside the Corrupted Gate near the “Gate of Infinity” effigy. It is in the upper part of the map, with the gate to the south.
Lost His Head
Defeat Orrem the Reborn.
How to get: This is one of the three mandatory bosses in the final dungeon.
Praise Him!
Defeat the Monolith.
How to get: This is one of the three mandatory bosses in the final dungeon.
Maximum Upgrade
Defeat the Spawn.
How to get: This is one of the three mandatory bosses in the final dungeon.
Is It All Over Now?
Defeat the Unbidden Serpent.
How to get: I defeat the final boss of the game.
Shells
Important: Shell bodies are located near Zirel, the Shell Keeper, and I can track their locations through gloom. The exception is Sister Genessa, whose body is not near Zirel because she is a hidden shell.
Forever Alone?
Unlock Thyl.
Arrival
Unlock Proxima.
Vengeance Is Mine
Unlock Eredrim.
Heartless
Unlock Gragu.
How to get: I meet Gragu in the bar and exhaust all his dialogue. He then asks me to bring him a heart. The heart is east of the bar, and the marker shows a portal that takes me to the temple where I can find it.
My Brother
Unlock Death.
Sister
Unlock Sister Genessa.
How to get: I go to the lower part of the map in the eastern area and head to the graves. I look for an area with red petals surrounded by sisters. Near the wall, I find a red sphere in the air and interact with it. Inside, I defeat Sister Second and receive a censer, which I take to Sister Genessa.
Alchemist
Unlock Sariel.
Wide in the Bone
Unlock Lazlo.
Shell Seeker
Unlock all shells.
Ghosts of the Past
View your first shell memory.
How to get: I find a shell and view the first memory of any shell.
Full Regalia
Reach the maximum bond tier with a shell at the Shell Keeper.
How to get: I level up the bond with any selected shell to the maximum at the Shell Keeper.
In Search of the Past
View all shell memories.
How to get: This takes around 2–3 playthroughs (NG+). I can use an interactive map to make finding all echoes easier.
Weapons
Important: I can purchase all maps showing weapon locations from the merchant.
Deep Cuts
Unlock the axe and dagger.
Old School
Unlock the Forgotten Crossbow.
Put in Its Place
Unlock the Veteran’s Battle Axe.
Big Baby
Unlock the Martyr’s Blade.

Unlock the Restored Axethrower.

How to get: I upgrade any selected weapon to the maximum level (16+).

Collectibles
Navigator
Find all map fragments.
How to get: During my first playthrough, the entire map is covered by the fog of war. I look for markers with a raven icon because these locations contain map fragments that reveal a specific area.
Give Me Back My Fruits
Collect all Fruits.
How to get: I cleanse the effigies and clear the Corrupted Gates. The achievement unlocks naturally as I progress through the game.
Stone
Find all Tarites.
Fresh and Clean
Cleanse all effigies.
How to get: There are 41 effigies in total, and I need to cleanse 36 of them.
Other Achievements
Midsommar?
Attend the festival.
How to get: At the very beginning of the game, as soon as I appear in the location, I leave the courtyard and talk to Daisy. She gives me a flower wreath, which unlocks the achievement.
Baghead
You mastered nothing, and this is your reward. Pretty pointless, isn’t it?
How to get:
- I find Baghead and exhaust all his dialogue.
- I sit next to his followers for a few seconds.
- I talk to Baghead again and choose any response.
- Behind me, on the box, I find Special Moonshine. I pick it up and put it back in place.
- I talk to Baghead again and answer “Yes” to all his questions. He then gives me his throne.
Heavy Metal
Play all lute melodies in the game.
How to get: I find the Minstrel’s Lute to the right of the “One-Legged Wolf” effigy. It is lying on the stage inside the bar. I equip it, hold aim, and press the play key (X). I then change compositions with the mouse wheel and play each one.
Perfect Parry of Peter
Parry every head spin of the Nameless Prisoner.
How to get: During the Nameless Prisoner fight at the Corrupted Gate near the “Nochten Gate” effigy, the boss uses a spinning attack with 7 head strikes when his health drops below 50%. I need to parry all 7 strikes in this sequence.
No Personal Life
Unlock all Mortal Shell II achievements.
How to get: I unlock this automatically after obtaining all the other achievements in the game.
Feed Me
Make Egon pass into the afterlife.
How to get: I find Egon at the top of the northwestern tower in the inner courtyard and offer him gloom. He may ask for 10,000 or 20,000 gloom. If I give him the requested amount, he thanks me before dying and returns twice the amount of gloom I spent.
