Over the Hill – Hidden Achievements Guide

In this guide, I cover how to unlock the hidden achievements in Over the Hill, including Held by a Thread, Law of the Land, Under the Stars, Under the Water, Professional Driver, and Taking Flight. I explain the locations, equipment, and steps needed for each achievement so I can unlock them all.

How to Unlock Hidden Achievements in Over the Hill

Held by a Thread – Hidden Achievement

Here I explain 2 methods use to unlock this achievement.

• Easy – Algeria: Tassili n’Ajjer Desert: Quick access from spawn.
• Medium – Canada: Gimli Ridge: It takes a bit longer because of the driving.

Algeria – Tassili n’Ajjer Desert

I select Algeria then Tassili n’Ajjer Desert.

Then I equip at least one Portable Winch and Winch Stage 2 or 3.

I spawn at either Porte Du Desert Camp or Crazy Gunther and make my way to the blue circle (Scenic View Point).

I press Enter to access the Scenic View Point, then select my equipment and use the Portable Winch.

I attach myself to the winch and drive off the cliff.

Once I am on the wall, I press L (default key) to extend the winch, and let my vehicle dangle completely in the air for 10 seconds to unlock the achievement.

Canada – Gimli Ridge

I select Canada then Gimli Ridge.

Then I equip at least one Portable Winch and Winch Stage 3 or 4.

I spawn at either Sunset Landing Cabin or Mount Gibson Lodge and make my way to the blue circle.

Then I look for a rock bridge with a crate on the other side. If I have not collected the crate already, I collect it first.

I make my way back to the middle of the bridge, and select my equipment and use the Portable Winch.

I attach myself to the winch and drive off the cliff.

Once I am on the wall, I press L (default key) to extend the winch.

I let my vehicle dangle completely in the air for 10 seconds to unlock the achievement.

Law of the Land – Hidden Achievement

I unlock Asgard Mountain first, then I equip a Repair Kit and a Jack, just in case.

I make my way to Rock Cradle Cabin or spawn there.

Next, I follow the trail up towards the Scene Point and unlock it if I have not already. Then I open my map, mark the general location of the chest (the blue circle east of the cabin), and drive down the hill. I take it slow and use my equipment as needed.

I drive up to the chest to unlock Beacon Bar – Red & Blue.

When I teleport or return to the menu to access the garage, I select The Polyana with the blue livery. The vehicle needs to be unlocked at Gimli Ridge.

8. I select Beacon Bar – Red & Blue to unlock the achievement.

Under the Stars – Hidden Achievement

I select any map or region, and equip a Campfire in my inventory.

I spawn anywhere on the map.

I press Q (default key) and select the Campfire.

I rotate the Campfire until both the circle and the box turn green.

I set up the campsite for the first time to unlock Under the Stars.

Other Hidden Achievements

Under the Water

I completely fill the water resistance bar until my vehicle shuts down.

Professional Driver

I flip my vehicle to unlock the achievement.

Taking Flight

I make a jump with my vehicle to unlock the achievement.
