In this guide, I explain how the Cable Puzzle works in We Were Here Tomorrow, including the module rules, door unlocking requirements, and the complete route to follow. I start at GEN and activate the required modules in the correct order to reach Ψ07 without revisiting any module.

How to Solve the Cable Puzzle in We Were Here Tomorrow

How the puzzle works

• Each module has a unique ID.
• I can only activate a module connected to the last module I activated.
• I can visit each module only once and start at GEN.
• The available modules at the start are GEN, all Ψ modules, all Σ modules, Δ02, and Δ05.
• RED, GRE, and BLU are locked doors, not modules. I cannot enter them directly. I need to activate specific modules to unlock them.

Door unlocking rules

• GRE: I activate Σ02 to unlock access to Θ01, Θ02, Θ03, and Θ04.
• RED: I activate Σ03 to unlock access to Δ01, Δ03, and Δ04.
• BLU: I activate Δ03 to unlock access to λ01, λ02, and λ03.

Unlocking a door makes the connected modules available, but I still need to follow the cable connections and cannot revisit any module.

Solution

I start at GEN and follow this route to activate Ψ02 -> Θ03 -> λ03 -> Ψ07 in the required order, without visiting any module more than once.

Door unlocks along the route

1. I activate Σ03 to unlock RED.
2. I activate Σ02 to unlock GRE.
3. Then I activate Δ03 to unlock BLU.
