In Mycelarium, I find different Magical Shrooms hidden throughout the underground levels. Each mushroom has its own appearance and effect, from helping grow roots to increasing building speed and reducing costs. In this guide, I explain all 5 Magical Shrooms, including where I found them, what they look like, and what they do.
How I Find All Magical Shrooms in Mycelarium
Here are all the Magical Shrooms I find during my playthrough. I cover their locations, appearance, and what they do.
Water Shroom (Blue)
I find this one first and it is also the easiest one to get. It grows on the 1st underground level (brown dirt).
It sends roots in random directions from your already grown nodes.
Cosmos Shroom (Purple)
I find this mushroom on the same 1st underground level (brown dirt), usually inside a labyrinth of stones.
So make sure to keep some extra Water and Food for exploring the tunnels to find this one.
It makes your Mycelia glow (you can disable this with the “F” button). From time to time, your Fungal Hyphae will also glisten with a purple colour.
Flora Shroom (Red)
I find these red pointy mushrooms on the 2nd underground level (grey dirt), inside the labyrinth of stones.
They will scare squirrels away forever!
So make sure to keep extra Water and Food for tunnel exploration.
Fauna Shroom (Green)
I find this mushroom on the same 2nd underground level (grey dirt), also inside the labyrinth of stones.
It has a round hat that looks turned inside out.
It reduces the cost of building mushrooms by 25%.
Light Mushroom (Yellow)
I find this one deep underground on the 3rd underground level (red dirt), inside or beside the labyrinth of stones.
It has pointy, pine-like hats.
It increases producing and building speed by 50%.
