In the Servant of the Lake Vanderboom Estate Guide, I explain the gameplay, how to move between rooms, how to find hidden items, and how to solve puzzles. The gameplay is identical to other titles released by the same developers, but the story and scenes are completely different. It takes me to a new world full of suspense and riddles to solve. At first, I explain how to unlock the Vanderboom Estate for players who aren’t familiar how to play point-and-click adventure game.
How to unlock the Vanderboom Estate?
I start the game and find myself floundering because I find myself next to a locked door and a driver keeps repeating the same message in the monotonous tone. Now, I tell you how to find driver’s fee and get a key to unlock the door estate door.
I find the first tankard on the windowsill, add it to my inventory, and then move to find the second which is on the floor. I find it by moving to the carriage, zoom in the scene, and then open the door.
Find the Driver’s Fee
From the windowsill and the carriage, I collect two missing tankards, bring them to the window on the right side, open the windowsill, and place both of them there.
After examining, I notice that tankard’s body has 1 to 5 grooves etched and soon I realize how to solve this puzzle. I arrange them 1 to 5, left to right position.
As I solve the puzzle, the lid of the tankard becomes open and now I need to tap to collect the coin and add to my inventory. I will give the coin to the driver later.
Unlock the Front Door
I give the coin to the driver and let him leave the spot. Soon, I find an iron rod on the ground near the pillar, I collect it and add it to my inventory.
How to Get the Estate Key?
I get into the house and go close to the planter box where I see the carrot at the start of the game. I tap the screen to open the zoom view and see a wooden floorboard on the desk with a black outline.
Soon, I discover a hidden compartment and use the iron rod to remove the wooden board. Next, I clip it on the end and drag it down using the mouse to lift up the wooden floorboard. I receive a silver key.
I add the silver key to my inventory and go to the main door of the estate. I select the key from the inventory and use it to unlock the door.
Next, I tap the handle and the door is open now.
